Shipping Process
If you have chosen to have your windows shipped, we will contract with a third party company to bring the windows from our facility to your location.
Once your window is ready to be delivered we will contact you to schedule. When the order ships we will notify you via email and provide an estimated delivery date and time. The driver will contact you via phone prior to delivery to confirm details.
In most cases a delivery truck will pull up to the curb at your location within a per-determined appointment window. From there, you will be responsible for unloading the item(s) from the truck and any further transport beyond that point.
Although most windows can be carried by one person, we recommend at least 2 people present at time of delivery. Our drivers can only drop the windows curbside.
We have very little control over delivery dates and times. We will do your best to accommodate your schedule but also will need flexibility to find a time that works for the drivers and you.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary by location and are displayed below. Typically the cost is the same whether you order 1 window or 10.
- Zone 1 - $199: Connecticut, Delaware, Washington D.C., Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia
- Zone 2 - $299: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Wisconsin
- Zone 3 - $399: Alabama, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas
- Zone 4 - $499: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming
Damage
We have shipped thousands of windows safely and damage is rare but it does happen on a small percentage of our deliveries. When the windows arrive, please be sure to inspect the delivery. If there is damage found, please inform the driver and notify us immediately via email and include as much detail as possible. We also require photos. We will replace any broken items at no charge. If you notify us of damage after the delivery we will do our best to assist but any solutions at that point are at the sole direction of our company.
WholesaleVinylWindows.com.COM IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OTHER THAN THOSE MENTIONED ON THE FREIGHT COMPANY`S DELIVERY RECEIPT. PLEASE ENSURE YOU INSPECT THE CONTENT OF YOUR ORDER BEFORE SIGNING THE DELIVERY FREIGHT RECEIPT.
During unloading of the windows from the truck, WholesaleVinylWindows.com assumes no responsibility or liability for damage to the product, personal injury to someone or any other issue that may arise due to moving the product from the curbside to the inside space.
Rescheduled Deliveries
If you have scheduled delivery and then no one is present to receive the order when the carrier arrives, a re-delivery fee will be charged that would need to be paid to us directly so the carrier can reschedule. It is important therefore that you adhere to the appointment that you made with the carrier and notify them of any changes as soon as possible.
Delivery Address
Freight trucks are large and can often be actual tractor trailers. If you reside in a location where such a truck would not be able to get to you, please let us know prior to the shipment of your order. We are not responsible if you are required to make arrangements with the freight carrier to meet their truck at another location to obtain your order.
If the delivery address is inaccessible or invalid, there may be delays and additional shipping charges.
Address Restrictions
Please provide a valid physical address during checkout. We do not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses. If you are located on an island only accessible by ferry, additional delivery charges may apply.
International Orders
We do not ship outside the contiguous US, nor to the US Territories, including Guam, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. We also do not ship outside the United States.
Change of Delivery Address
Any change of address prior to delivery must be received in writing prior to shipping. Any changes made to the address and / or phone number after the order has been shipped may result in delays or
Additional Delivery Surcharges
We do our best to ensure that shipping is correctly calculated before you purchase; however, at times it may not be possible to do so accurately. We reserve the right to notify you after you’ve purchased an item of any additional shipping or handling charges necessary to deliver your order. If notified of any additional charges, you have the right to modify or cancel your order for a full refund.
Payments
We are responsible for making payments to the shipping and delivery vendors directly. You, the customer, do NOT have to pay anything to the drivers at the time of delivery or at any other time. Any and all such payments, if made by the customer to the carrier company or its representatives, for any additional or existing services will be at your sole discretion and cost. You agree that WholsesaleVinylWindows.com, will not refund such payments under any circumstances.
